LaTeX, BibTeX and APA formatting tools

About ManuscriptKit

Last updated 2026-10-12

ManuscriptKit is a free set of browser tools for the formatting jobs that come with academic and technical writing: LaTeX tables, matrices and equations, BibTeX entries, reference lists in APA, MLA and IEEE style, and APA tables, figures and headings. Each page does one job and works straight away: there is no account and nothing to install.

How it works

  • Everything runs in your browser. What you type or open is processed on your own device. It is not uploaded, and we never see it — useful when the paper or the data is unpublished.
  • Rules written down. Each tool page says which rule it follows: the LaTeX package documentation (booktabs, amsmath, graphicx, longtable), the BibTeX documentation, the APA Publication Manual (7th edition), the MLA Handbook (9th edition) and the IEEE Reference Guide. Style guides leave room for judgement, so check the result against your university’s or journal’s own instructions.
  • Tested. The formatting code is checked against worked examples from those sources before a tool goes online.
  • Third-party code used on the site, such as the KaTeX math renderer, is listed on the credits page.

If a tool gives a wrong result, please tell us through the contact page — the input that shows the problem helps most.

Who runs it

ManuscriptKit is owned and operated by SKYSEED TECH LLC. You can write to us at support@yiqi360.com.

Why the address is yiqi360.com

The domain yiqi360.com belongs to SKYSEED TECH LLC. It used to host a Chinese-language directory of laboratory instrument suppliers, which has been closed; the domain now serves ManuscriptKit. The old directory pages are gone and are not coming back.

What is next

We are planning a paid Pro plan with Word export and saved work. The free tools stay free. See Pro if you would like to hear when it opens.

Advertising

The site is free to use. We may show advertising in future to pay for hosting and development. If we do, ads will be labelled “Advertisement”, will never cover a tool, and are described in the privacy policy.
